As chief Visioneer of Goddess Software since April 2003, Dr. Vanessa Paugh was interviewed by news media at the Austin Women's Game Conference in October 2004, by Delta Sky Magazine in January 2009 and by The Dallas Examiner at Black Girls Code in 2014.
Aiming to enhance the technological experience of women, and utilize her many years of software development experience Dr. Paugh created the I am the Bride series and started developing iPhone apps in 2009. These apps include iGown, Pride And Prejudice RPG and
Closets And Connections 1.
Since 2011, Dr. Paugh has been lecturing on iOS development at Collin College. She has an extensive educational background, including a Doctor of Philosophy in Aesthetic Studies, a Masters of Fine Arts in Arts and Technology, a Masters of Science in Engineering and a Bachelors of Electrical Engineering. Dr. Paugh also holds Sun Java Developer and IWA Flash Actionscript certifications.
Formerly a senior system engineer at EDS for five years, Dr. Paugh was also technical consultant with First American Real Estate, Mary Kay Cosmetics, NASA JSC and AT&T Bell Labs.
